Submission process

During submission, you will:

  1. enter the manuscript title, abstract, keywords and contribution type;
  2. provide author and correspondence information;
  3. provide required declarations and disclosures;
  4. upload the anonymous manuscript and any additional files where applicable;
  5. review the submission information before final submission.

Submission does not guarantee external review, acceptance or publication. All manuscripts are subject to initial editorial screening and the journal’s published policies.

Where revision is requested, authors may be asked to provide a revised manuscript and a point-by-point response to reviewer or editorial comments.

Contribution types

FCT currently considers:

  • research articles;
  • theological reflections;
  • ministry case studies;
  • book reviews.

Contribution type should be identified accurately at submission.

Non-research contributions must not be represented as having completed the journal’s standard research peer-review procedure unless they actually underwent that process.

Confidentiality and personal information

Submission and peer-review records are handled in accordance with the journal’s Privacy Policy and Publication Ethics policy.

Authors should avoid including unnecessary sensitive or confidential personal information in manuscript files or correspondence.
