Faith • Civilization • Theology welcomes original contributions across biblical studies and biblical theology; systematic and historical theology; church history and early Christianity; ecclesiology; practical theology and discipleship; global Christianity; Christian ethics and public theology; mission and ministry; digital Christianity and emerging technologies; religious freedom and Christian public witness; and interdisciplinary theological research. We also welcome critical book reviews and appropriate theological reflections.
Contribution types
Research articles, theological reflections, practitioner theological reflections, book reviews, review essays and ministry case studies are identified separately. Each follows editorial assessment and the review process appropriate to its type. Submission does not guarantee publication.
Review and assessment
Research articles normally undergo double-anonymous external peer review by two suitably qualified reviewers. Additional review may be sought when reports materially disagree, specialised expertise is required, or exceptional circumstances justify it. Editorial contributions are not described as externally peer reviewed unless that assessment has actually occurred.
Publication schedule
Volume 1, Issue 1 — July–December 2026. From 2027, Issue 1 covers January–June and Issue 2 covers July–December. FCT uses continuous publication within each issue.
