Faith • Civilization • Theology is an independent, cross-denominational, Christ-centred, open-access theological journal published in Australia.
Aims and scope
The journal provides a place for careful engagement with Scripture, Christian theology, the history of Christianity, ethics, culture and the life of the Church. It welcomes contributions from scholars and appropriately qualified practitioners across Christian traditions.
Research articles, theological reflections, ministry case studies and book reviews have different purposes. Each contribution is labelled so readers can understand what kind of work they are reading.
Publication model
The inaugural issue is Volume 1, Issue 1, July–December 2026. From 2027, Issue 1 covers January–June and Issue 2 covers July–December. Contributions are published continuously within each issue.
Independent publication
FCT is editorially independent. Institutional affiliations identify contributors and do not imply endorsement. Theological Research Archive is a separate research repository and is not the journal’s peer-reviewed publication stream.
